Overview

The department of Endocrinology at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital is concerned with management of the patients of Diabetes Mellitus, Thyroid diseases, Obesity, other Hormonal disorders and Cushing’s disease, Parathyroid disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, perioperative management of diabetes mellitus (Gestational Diabetes Mellitus ) as well as in hospital management of diabetes mellitus, Pituitary disorders like Acromegaly, Sheehan ‘s Syndrome, management of patients who underwent total thyroidectomy, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, height gain and weight gain management, evaluation and further work up of patients of hypoglycaemia, management of patients of diabetes mellitus with cardiac diseases(CAD) who underwent CABG/ PTCA, management of patients of accelerated hypertension (Pheochromocytoma).
