Overview

The Department of Cardiology at the Mahatma Gandhi Cardiac Center is a pioneer in bringing world class cardiac care to India. It is determined to provide state of the art and proficient care to heart patients at an affordable cost. Our highly qualified team of cardiologists along with the latest technology ensures the best possible care for a wide spectrum of heart diseases. We have two fully working and highly equipped Cath labs, conducting more than 300 interventional procedures per month. We also have a 3^rd Cath lab under construction which is to be started very soon. Our Cath lab is also equipped with electrophysiology along with 3D mapping, with more than 30 cases per month of electrophysiological study and radiofrequency ablation done for treatment of all kinds of arrhythmias.

We have 4 seats of DM Cardiology which are filled regularly. As a part of DM Training, we also conduct regular academic activities including case presentations, journal club, clinical assessment, paper presentations, poster presentation, etc. We conduct various outreach camps regularly for cardiology checkups & health awareness for the benefit of the people. We have a highly qualified team of cardiologists, and technical team providing all kinds of facilities including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, as well as non interventional diagnostic facilities.
