We work closely with our cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, cardiac radiologists, haematologists, perfusionists and cardiac nursing staff to provide compassionate care to the patient.

The department has expanded its horizons to deliver skill, care and support in our institute ECMO programme. We also provide our services for cardiac interventional procedures in the catheterisation lab like device closures, endovascular aortic repairs, percutaneous valvular replacement, cardiac catheterisation, electrophysiological procedures and in cardiac radiological procedures like cardiac CT scan and cardiac MRI.

The department offers two seats for DM cardiac anaesthesia every year where the student acquires a complete portfolio of all the aspects of cardiac anaesthesia. We also aim at advancing the field of cardiovascular anesthesiology by performing cutting-edge clinical research.
